Getting Prequalified

Getting prequalified is easy - literally a phone call. Just call your favorite lending institution and after giving your lender some basic information, he/she can tell you how much you are able to spend for a home and answer many other financial questions. Don’t be afraid to “shop around” for the best interest rates.

Searching for Your Perfect Home

After you have an idea of what you'd like in your new home and your price range, it's time to begin your search. You may want to start off by searching for your home on the Internet. This will give you a general idea of what is available. But we hope you will contact Harmony Realty early in the process. Remember that we already know the neighborhoods and see many homes each week. After we talk we can conduct searches with your exact needs in mind.

Making an Offer

When we find your perfect home, we will help you structure an offer. This includes providing you with information on properties recently sold in the neighborhood so that we can understand the value of the home you're interested in.   Once an offer is accepted, we move forward towards closing the deal.   For your protection, we encourage you to have an inspection done on the home you are planning to purchase.  At this time, we can provide you with lists of home inspectors, appraisers, surveyors, etc. if necessary.

Closing

We will be with you throughout the period prior to closing and at closing itself. We work hard to make sure that everyone is doing their job to ensure a smooth process. If we run into problems we will alert you immediately and assist you in remedying them.  Having a knowlegable team of experts on your side working with you through every phase of the transaction lowers your risks and makes the entire buying experience  more pleasant.
